Designed by James and built by engineer Dave Griffiths, the pair has been working on Samplebrain for the past two decades. Last September, Aphex Twin launched a free sample matching software called Samplebrain. Back in 2020, a display featuring a red version of his logo appeared on Turbo Island in addition to other locations across the world. This isn’t the first time Aphex Twin billboards have appeared in the south west city. The billboards appeared in the city last night (9 March) and feature Aphex Twin’s renowned logo with the url written across the top of the poster. Now, a similar website has been shared via three billboards in Bristol. Following this, Richard James was confirmed for the London day festival and has since been announced to also play a string of events in Europe including a closing set at Dour Festival. A series of billboards featuring the producer’s logo have appeared around the city.Įarlier this year, Aphex Twin shared a cryptic website which hinted at a Field Day appearance from the elusive producer and former Crack Magazine cover star.
